India vs Bangladesh Scorecard, India dominated the first day of the second Test at the MA Chidambaram stadium in Chennai. The visitors were unable to keep up with the pace of the Indian batsmen, who put on a huge total before rain brought an early end to the first session.
Rishabh Pant’s 108 and Shubman Gill’s 119 helped India build a huge lead on the second day, as they reached 287/4 in their second innings. Jasprit Bumrah’s 4/50 and Ravindra Jadeja’s 3/58 ensured that the match was firmly out of reach for the tourists.

Mominul Haque continues to bat brilliantly for Bangladesh and he hits another boundary. A short ball from Mohammed Siraj and he swivel pulls it to the deep square leg region for four. Bangladesh have crossed 150 and Mominul completes his century off 172 balls.
Mominul tries to hit the ball hard but is unsuccessful. He is then beaten off a fuller delivery by Taskin Ahmed. Mominul takes a single to remain on strike. The final over before Lunch.

The second day of the India vs Bangladesh Test in Kanpur was washed out without a ball being bowled. Overnight rain led to a wet outfield at Green Park Stadium and it meant that an inspection had to be held before play could begin.
The pitch has dried up a bit and is now looking good for batting. An inspection will be held at 10:00 am but if the weather stays like this we could see a full day of play today.
Ravindra Jadeja is bowling a short delivery and Taijul Islam misses his defensive shot to be castled for five runs off eight balls. It was the third wicket to fall for India in this innings as they continued to take control of the game against a struggling Bangladesh team.
Hasan Mahmud is playing a positive innings and gets a strong lbw appeal from the Bangladesh fielders but umpire Rod Tucker says no. The decision is reviewed by Shanto and UltraEdge confirms that there was no bat involved and it’s a no-call. He walks off to a huge cheer from the crowd.

A brisk start by Bangladesh openers Shadman Islam and Zakir Hasan helped them build a 62-run partnership. But after that, the wickets fell quickly. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj took two wickets each to put India in the ascendancy.
Then, Ravindra Jadeja struck a double blow to take the remaining two wickets of the innings. First, he bowled Zakir Hasan, then Mominul Haque. Both batsmen went down lbw, courtesy a smartly-timed screamer by Aditya Jaiswal at gully and a well-judged catch by KL Rahul at mid on respectively.
But Bangladesh weren’t done yet. Mominul reviewed a lbw decision against Rohit Sharma but the umpire Rod Tucker didn’t overturn it. It was a fuller delivery and Rohit looked to drive but got a top edge. Ball-tracking from UltraEdge shows it to clip the edge and ricochet into the stumps. It was a strong lbw appeal but the umpire didn’t give it out.

The match has been called off for the day as the field is wet. The umpires are evaluating the condition and it looks like there won’t be any chance of playing the game until the afternoon.

Ravindra Jadeja is going after the wicket again, he gets a nudge and a full delivery on the pads of Litton Das. The batsman immediately goes for review and the decision is reverted to caught at short leg. The umpire is not happy with the decision. The review shows that there was no nick from the batsman and it was a good call by the umpire.
